It’s close enough to the Village Green and Bar Harbor shopping to walk, but far enough out that you don’t have all of the traffic or congestion. "Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at this hotel. In the middle of the night, while we were asleep, someone unlocked and attempted to open our room door. Fortunately, the security latch stopped the door from opening completely, although the force partially ripped the door trim from the wall. "This property was convenient. It is close to Acadia. It is clean, quiet. The breakfast choices were great. There is even a shuttle to town. Easy check-in and check-out. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are coming to Bar Harbor or Acadia."

"Loved the ocean views from our room & while sitting on our balcony! The saltwater pool was heated, clean & picturesque to enjoy a relaxing swim. The free Island Explorer shuttle stop is out front & makes it so convenient to go to town or anywhere inside the National Park. Breakfast was good with both hot & cold options.
