"while the weather was beyond anyone’s control, I had such a cozy stay and was perfect for the R&R that I needed. "Food was great and varied,, house keeping staff were brilliant especially Isobel silva Pools were clean but cold Staff at reception were brilliant The only down side I could find was the beds were too hard and very worn, and could do with replacing. Overall a great place to stay but be aware on-site parking is 10 euros a day and the room safe is 19 euros a week ???? But if you want a good clean and well staffed hotel Look no further. "

The hotel is advertised as two connected properties with spa amenities but in reality they are pretty disjointed and quite a bit of walk from each other. The spa reservation system is not great because there is no online way to reserve a massage and one needs to go to a remote reception spot to reserve it between 10 am and 7 pm (which is prime time NOT to be at the hotel). "Locational is phenomenal, rooms are great for what they are. Check in was a little rough, no on sent us a code to get into the building and the door was locked, so we had to get a local from a shop to call the number on the door for someone to let us in. They clean the room and make the beds everyday, staff is very friendly. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Wir sind angekommen und haben ein Zimmer direkt an der Straße mit zwei kaputten Fensterscheiben bekommen. Am liebsten wären wir gleich wieder abgereist. Das Restaurant im Hotel gibt es nicht. Zum Essen hätten wir noch einmal das Haus verlassen müssen, mit dem Mietwagen, im Dunkeln, nachdem wir seit 14 Stunden auf den Beinen waren und bei Madeiras Straßen, no way. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten und hatten tatsächlich Glück. Ein Zimmer nicht an der Straße, mit Balkon...
