"This was my second time staying at Hotel Spirito, and overall I had another decent experience. The hotel offers good value for the price, especially if your priority is staying close to Centro Comercial Chipichape. The rooms are spacious and functional, but there are some noticeable tradeoffs when it comes to service, amenities, and upkeep.
**Pros:**
* Great location near Centro Comercial Chipichape
* Spacious Superior rooms with comfortable bed, kitchenette, and balcony
* Generally clean rooms
* Ozonated tap water
* Security/police presence at entrance feels reassuring
* Nice pool area, slightly better than Spiwak’s
**Cons:**
* Not greeted by hotel staff on arrival both times
* Breakfast buffet is limited, repetitive, and average at best
* No gym or restaurant onsite (must go across to Spiwak)
* Room service is slow since it comes from Spiwak and has an added charge
* Some room details poorly maintained (missing sink stopper, worn blinds, makeshift fixes)
* Weak soundproofing, can hear neighbors/upstairs noise
* Avoid 2nd floor Superior rooms: too close to street/sidewalk, less privacy and more noise
**Overall:**
Good value for the location and room size, especially if being next to Chipichape is a priority. Amenities are decent, but many of the better facilities are really at Spiwak.

"best steam turco. And as always, great customer service.
At check-in, I had an issue because they couldn't apply my Gold status to the room upgrade, but I was able to communicate with Expedia via chat. After two attempts, they were able to speak to someone at reception.
There are a lot of great people working there, including Alexis, Bonifacio, Carolina, Juan Carlos, Linda, and Fernando, among others."
"The hotel is cute but they showed a pool on the website and the room was nothing like the picture, only had one bed. The staff were very nice.
The location was good. Overall ok. Not wonderful. "
"Be extremely careful with this hotel!
My experience was extremely disappointing, and I feel obligated to warn other travelers, especially foreign guests. During check-in, the staff asked me to sign a document, claiming it was only required for VAT exemption purposes for international tourists. Everything seemed normal, so I trusted their explanation.
However, days later, I discovered a charge on my credit card for supposed “tour packages” that I never requested, never authorized, and that never even took place. At no point was I informed that the document could be used to apply additional charges.
I feel completely misled, and I consider this practice highly deceptive and unethical. Carefully review every document before signing anything and closely monitor your credit card statements after staying here. I am sharing this to prevent other guests from going through the same situation."
