"I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and it was a wonderful experience. The rooftop bar was lovely. I ordered the chicken tandoori lollipops, the pepperoni & mozzarella di bufala flatbread, & a margarita 10/10. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were happy to give suggestions about the menu. Front desk was a total sweetheart.. I didn’t catch her name, but she was slim, petite, with short hair and a real pretty smile. "Beautiful hotel. Great bed. Elegant. But the bar was closed when I arrived, at 9:40pm!!!! Sorry, but that is beyond lame AND disappointing. Plus the $45 valet boys wanted me to drive around 2 blocks to have my car pointing in the right direction outside the hotel! (I turned it around right in front of them in 3 seconds. Disappearing. Felt like a low grade experience. You want to be taken care of when you arrive at a hotel."

"The room was small, but comfortable. It was noisy outside early in the evening but quieter later on. The person at the reception desk seemed a little impatient and not very friendly. Parking was not inexpensive and the parking spots in the garage were spaced very close together. The open central area was spacious and comfortable. Overall this was an OK experience but I might look somewhere else the next time I stay in the area."

"Convenient if you are headed to the Capitol. It's not too far and not so close that the prices are sky high. There is a lovely restaurant connected to this place that unfortunately time did not allow me to try but I will the next time. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and served it purpose. My trip was a quick one day meeting, go back to the airport and go home so I didn't get to really enjoy the hotel as much I wish I could have. Overall, would I stay here...

"One of the best hotel stays ever! The hotel has preserved the historic character of an old women’s Masonic temple. Beautiful architecture! Rooms were clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great and staffed by a wonderful chef/waiter. Location was excellent. About a 2 mile walk into historic waterfront / museum area. Lots of great restaurants /cafes just a half mile away. We stayed here while watching crew races at lake natoma just 20 min drive away. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"They didn’t accommodate a late check-in so I had to change my flight. Also, the bathroom had no curtains so we had to order some when we got there and there was a bed in the living room."
