"I was there off season, so outdoor pool areas were closed, but the indoor one was open. The hot tub is very good, however the pool was too chilly to go right in. They need to raise the heater at least 5 degrees. The hotel had nightly entertainment that was very good.The staff is friendly, the hotel lobby is beautiful, the rooms need updating, but for the one of the last one of the operating Catskill Hotels, it was nostalgic."

"Our experience at Lake Wanoka Resort in the Poconos was absolutely amazing! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway for my husbands birthday. It felt like a true home away from home. The peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The resort grounds are amazing. The other campers were so friendly. There is also a restaurant on the resort and the staff are so nice. My husband and I connected with so many people and they made us feel like family. The food at the Resturant is really good and the bartender Seth is Excellent with drinks.
I highly recommend this resort for couples, families, or anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Poconos in a comfortable and welcoming place. We’ll definitely be back!
