Abbiamo prenotato con expedía un stanza per due persone per il giorno 13/07.. Dopo il matrimonio di amici.. Siamo arrivati in struttura e ci hanno detto che non c'erano più stanze libere, che da anni l'albergo non lavorava più con expedia.. Nonostante ancora sul sito ci fossero 4 camere disponibili e avessimo una prenotazione confermata dalla struttura
Premetto che noi siamo venuti in Sicilia da Milano per un matrimonio.. Abbiamo prenotato in questa struttura dove tra l'altro si svolgeva il ricevimento arrivando verso le 21 dopo la cerimonia in chiesa.. Stanchi e con le valigie.
Non penso sia corretto trattare così i clienti che arrivano non solo come noi da lontano.. Ma lasciarli per aria, ci hanno detto di disdire la prenotazione.. Ma la nostra era una prenotazione che non poteva essere disdetta e senza rimborso.. Abbiamo chiesto di contattare loro expedia visto che noi eravamo al ricevimento del matrimonio..non potevano chiamare.. Abbiamo chiamato noi ma a quell'ora non rispondeva nessuno... La risposta del propietario è stata "e vabbe per oggi è andata così".. Senza nessuno interesse nel dare una soluzione al cliente..

Leuke B&B met een prachtig zwembad
De kamers zijn zeer eenvoudig maar ruim en schoon. Iedere dag worden de handdoeken aangevuld en de kamers schoon gemaakt. Het accent ligt met name bij het zwembad en het restaurant-gedeelte. Het zwembad is groot en de ligbedden worden door personeel voor je opgebouwd. Het ontbijt en diner is erg goed. Er worden regelmatig feestjes gehouden waar je als gast ook welkom bent. De B&B ligt zeer rustig gelegen. Het dorp en de winkel liggen op 20 minuten rijden met de auto.
Bij de kamers kan je niet echt gezellig buiten zitten. Er staan enkel wat bankjes. Een paar houten banken met tafels zou naar ons idee een goede toevoeging zijn. Verder is het gemakkelijk een droogrek in de kamer te hebben om je handdoeken te kunnen laten drogen.

Nice hotel, perfect for weddings. Far from city center. Nice if you like to spend time at the hotel. Very nice pool, both for children and adults.

A little out of the way...
There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms seem well maintained. Best reason to go though is the outstanding dinner and wine from the owners vineyard. Overall a nice experience.

Fantastisk udsigt
Villa D'andrea ligger langt fra alting, og fremstår stille og roligt. Udsigten fra Poolen er fantastisk, og personalet er flinke. De snakker ikke engelsk, men det kan man forvente af et landsted så langt fra storbyen. Ejeren producerer sin egen vin som smager fantastisk!. Det er et godt sted at tage en enkelt overnatning og værelserne er store og kølige. Restaurant serverer en menu til rimelige penge, men det er muligt kun at købe en enkelt ret, selvom der kan være en del sprogbarrierer.

Tranquility and great dinner with a view
A wonderful place on the countryside with a pool, their own wine and olives, wounderful view from the pool and tranquility. We stayed one night to have a shorter travel the day after to Catania for the flight home. It was a very worthwhile staying! Relaxing, bathing in the pool and a superb dinner with the table set outside by the pool with the great view and extremely romantic. And of course we bought some bottles of their own wine. It tastes alot and great!
