"This property was spectacular!!! I when we were driving over the bridge and spotted the hotel, I was soooo excited. The location on the river is beautiful. We had a king bed, beautiful Bathroom, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the river and the bridge as the backdrop. Breakfast is included and spectacular. The staff is very helpful and informative. They booked our tours and dinners. I wish I had one more day to just stay at the hotel and enjoy all of the amenities."

"This was such a beautiful quaint Quinta to stay at. Compared to some of the other larger ones in the area, we loved that it was small and quiet. It’s located in a good spot to travel to surrounding towns for dinner or sightseeing. The two donkeys and cats were an added bonus. I loved visiting them every day! The staff were very helpful and so friendly. The daily breakfast was perfect and the fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. The pictures don’t do it justice, the whole place is stunning!...

"This property and stay was absolutely amazing. Its located in a great part of Douro, but feels very private and secluded. Ivo was great to talk to and responded promptly to all our questions. Lidia is absolutely amazing as well and took care of us as if we were her family. The room was charming and clean, the breakfast was great and the pool was very tranquil and relaxing. We cannot wait to come visit Casa de Azenha again!"
