"Immaculate room and very spacious with comfy big arm chairs. Bathroom was spotless too and shower lovely and roomy. Breakfast and dinners were delicious!! The pancakes came with loads of yummy bacon and plenty maple syrup! The fish and chips were plentiful, steak pie was hearty and filling! Will be back!"

"We were greeted by Noah and he served us breakfast each morning and made our stay more pleasant with his cheerfulness. We slept over the Pub and surprisingly had a great nights sleep for all three nights! We were in walking distance of market square and city shopping! Parks close by and Cam river. Enjoyed our stay!"

"A delightful thatched inn overlooking village green. Lovely outside seating area. Good parking at rear of building. Very well presented room with AC ( Stamford) fresh milk and bottles of water in a small fridge, good lighting and power points Bathroom with shower and generous sized towels. Comfortable bed and pillows. A small sofa too well placed for watching tv. Food - dinner and breakfast options - good. Very welcoming and pleasant staff."

"Hotel and staff were excellent, as was the food both breakfast and dinner (the onion rings are delicious). Parking is a bit of a faff, short stay overnight and long stay after 08:30, but that's the council not the hotel."
