The hotel was great, you can reach the beautiful Cavoli beach in five minutes using stairs that start directly from the hotel. Breakfast was really good as well. Just the transportation service to other beaches should be improved, times are not reliable.

Great hotel near the beach - ocean view

Pros: Great beach; restaurant in the hotel; near the beach; great ocean view; free parking; free towels for guests to use at the beach (ask at the reception). Cons: Lots of stairs to get e to the beach; and only one restaurant option to dine in (the hotel one). But you can drive only 5 minutes to get to another town with lots of good restaurants and shopping options. Would definitely stay again here as the beach felt more private and less touristic than in other towns of the island. The restaurant service is amazing, has nice ocean view, and the food is good, but it’s a little pricy when compared to other restaurants in the island.

Rooms are dated and need to be refurbished. Our shower did not work properly. The water was either scalding hot or ice cold and there was no way to get a regulated temperature to take a shower. Tried for several days. Just had to try to shower between the spurts of hot and cold. Sink was plugged and we asked the desk to fix it but no one did. The rooms/ decks with the “sea view” really had a high seat wall around and there was no way to enjoy the view unless you stood up at the Edge. No view from seated position at the outdoor table. Breakfast was great and staff were great and attentive except for the sink repair. Hotel is not worth the cost on line. NOT a four star hotel!

The room they put us in, was not like anything depicted on the website. Amenities in the room were already opened from the previous guests... Overall very disappointing for the rate paid.

Good stay

Una bellissima struttura con ristorante e bar con una vista indimenticabile, per via del cambio di gestione non abbiamo potuto avere la camera superior con vista mare ma ci hanno cmq assegnato una camera vista mare laterale, servizio impeccabile al bar/ristorante, parcheggio difficoltoso come le strade dell'isola ma mare di cavoli meraviglioso.

Tolle Terrasse! Schöne Anlage. Leider wurden jeden Tag alle Handtücher gewechselt, auch wenn man das der Umwelt zu Liebe nicht wollte und das "nicht stören" Schild an die Tür gehängt hat. Sonst wirklich super schönes Hotel mit nettem Personal

Ottima vicinanza al mare (raggiungibile a piedi con delle scale), panorama bellissimo sia dalla stanza dove alloggiavamo, sia dalla sala colazione. Stanza pulita, personale molto cordiale, buffet della colazione sufficiente (dolci di qualità e in più la parte continentale prevedeva uova, bacon, prosciutto cotto e formaggio). Data la conformazione montuosa dell'isola, l'hotel rimane un po' isolato rispetto alle altre città principali (dai 10 ai 50 Minuti di distanza, escludendo quelle verso la punta tipo Rio Marina), quindi guidare di notte su strade di montagna non illuminate è un po' difficile e pericoloso. L'hotel ha un parcheggio per i clienti.

Great views of the bay and beach. A beautiful location. Room clean but very basic, needs an upgrade, door sticks, first hotel or b&b I've visited in 20 years with no kettle or hot drink facilities in room. Nothing in room fridge except for water and 2 tins of beer and they charge for both. Absolutely no entertainment or guest facilities/enjoyment provided, nothing to do here but eat and drink very expensive and pretentious food in very small portions. Strongly biased to German and Italian guests and English speaking people are very much made to feel unwanted. Basically they have you trapped if you stay here and having visited nearby Marino Di Campo whilst there (20 euro each way in a taxi for 3.5 miles!) I would strongly recommend staying there because there is so much more eating choices, nice shops and things to do even though not as pretty.

Punto strategico per scoprire l isola d elba

L hotel si affaccia su una Baia su un pendio roccioso degradante al mare coperta da una fitta vegetazione.Le camere sono confortevoli,dotate di un piccolo patio coperto vista mare,molto silenziose .Colazione fantastica su altrettanto stupenda terrazza!!! Consigliatissimo
