"This is my regular hotel when I'm in Ottawa for business meetings since my company is headquartered there. Every time I go, it's the exact same experience. The staff is excellent. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. The breakfast is a very typical hotel breakfast that offers something for everyone. I've always found it kind of unique that this hotel always seems to have a little bit of an almost Mexican flair to the food, with things like pulled pork for breakfast. Such a small thing to complain about, but I really wish that these hotels would recognize that putting certain things in steam tables to keep them warm makes them gross (think hashbrowns)"

"The gym is being renovated. The upstairs fitness room overlooks the renovations and looks awful and smells so strongly of paint, plaster and dust, it made me and my husband feel sick after 10 minutes. I had to leave and walk outside for fresh air. The brunch is not as good as it used to be. The butternut quiche was awful and the salad dressings are not the same. Awful. We had 6 people for brunch. Too bad. I used to love this hotel. Beds are comfy. Rooms clean. Staff nice and efficient. Disappointed. "
