"Large pieces of broken glass on the floor outside the closet. Room carpeting was noticeably unvacuumed with plastic tags on the floor from new clothing of previous inhabitant. The safe was also not working. Called the front desk, described my issues, requested another room. Desk manager came up, apologized, handed me a key for a room on a different floor. I showed him the glass he really didn’t care so much nor did anyone help us move to the other room. We made 2 trips, no big deal....

"The hotel is in a good location but it is very outdated. It is close to several dining options and provides free parking. However, the room is very small and old. The AC was extremely loud in the summer if it is needed. The bathroom is also very cramped. The whole hotel feels like that it has not been updated for decades."

"This historic, very well maintained building has a perfect location to walk to anything you’d want to get to in downtown Buffalo. The lobby was impressive, but awkwardly quiet (except for when the bar/lounge next door was bumpin’), compounded by there never really being any staff around. "I enjoyed this historic hotel. Little things needed updating in my room. The towel rack rod was partially taped. The paint is peeling/cracked in some spots. And an old fixture was sticking out of the floor in front of the tub. The shower was labeled as two cold knobs, which confused my teenager. However with all that said, I will gladly stay there again on the future."
