There was no hot water on the first night when we checked in at 9 p.m. The place warmed up quickly, but after a rainy day at CBeebies Land, we couldn’t take a shower. Thankfully, everything worked fine for the next two days.

I attended the Royal British Legion Operation Banner 50th Anniversary at the National Arboretham Lichfield, which is not on your list of places of interest. There were almost 2000 people there Cannock is convenient because it is adjacent to the M6
