"Un posto dove ti puoi rilassare, a pochi minuti da Santa Maria degli Angeli, con un immenso giardino con piscina stagionale e stanze tutte arredate a nuovo. In camera c'è il bollitore per preparare il te, ti omaggiano di 2 bottigliette d'acqua che trovi in frigo. Non ho potuto usufruire della Spa perchè avevo un appuntamento ad Assisi. La colazione è abbondante e i gestori sono molto carini."

During the 13th and 14th centuries the hotel was a hospital and an orphanage . Wasn’t thrilled with the restaurant , but that of course is a matter of taste. All in all , I enjoyed the 3 night stay , using it as a base to visit Perugia (30 minutes drive) and Assisi (also 30 minutes). "I loved staying here! It's right next to the main plaza area and a short (downhill) walk to St. Chiara, St. Francis, Chiese Nuova, and St. Maria (where St. Carlo is on display). St. Chiara has 7:15 am daily mass which was great to attend before breakfast. The breakfast was great (coffee, fresh fruits, meats, jelly, bread, freshly made eggs, etc).
