"My 90 year old Mum and I stayed for one night while visiting family. The staff were all helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to meet our needs. Super comfy beds and spotlessly clean. Breakfast included speciality coffees and a good menu of choices. The sun shone for us and we enjoyed the outside spaces. We highly recommend this hotel."

"Convenient if travelling by train, beds made once during 4 night stay, cleaned once during the same time. Sink had come away from the wall and the shower was leaking sufficiently that I isolated the power. Had to ask for clean towels and water for the kettle"

"When you stay at the Maids Hotel, the one thing that is fixed in your mind is “stairs” unless you can cope with stairs at every turn, this is not the hotel for you. This is because the hotel is a heritage building and it doesn’t lend itself to easy step free access.
