"This was a good spot for us to stay overnight before our flight the next morning"

"I was hoping the hotel would capture the elegance of days past but that didnt mean staying in an era before electrical conveniences. Day 1 electrical problems in room, room not very clean, room saturated with air freshener. The bed was sprung on one side. Maintenance replaces microwave. Day 2 the hotel is over booked and has multiple events happening. Desk staff are overwhelmed and stressed. No room to change to. More electrical problems but this time they arent fixed. Day 3 discover the hairdryer dosent have a plug - but the staff at desk are still overwhelmed with overlapping events and full house - I dont bother asking for anything because they are stressed and rude Electrical issues still not fixed. Day 4 checking out 9 am -ALL elevators are broken and offline - I call the desk and ask when they will be running again and the lady tells me they will be working on them until 3pm and use the stairs! I said we have to get to the airport and have suitcases - SO THE TWO OF US DRAGGED TWO SUITCASES AND CARRYONS DOWN 34 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS AS WE WERE ON THE 17TH FLOOR - it took us 25 minutes - my husband has a heart condition but we were so afraid of not getting to the airport on time and missing the flight, we didnt have any other good option. AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PALGUE. They dont care about the hotel, or the guests. "

"It's a lovely establishment. Front desk person needs to be a little more friendlier. I took a red eye to get to my destination first time ever. So I booked to room for the day before. I didn't know I would have to call the establishment that day to tell them I was coming early next day. She made me feel dumb. Kind of rude. Almost didn't have a room available for me. Almost gave to someone else she said. The still scolded me after giving me my key cards."

"I was able to book a last minute stay with them. Valet parking was really nice, told me about the 2 forms of parking (valet/self service). Check in was smooth & quick (just remember to give them your vehicle plate # at check in; avoids parking payment) The room was extremely clean. The 2 Beds were a decent size for 4 guests. Gym was really clean and had various machines to use. Pool is located on the 7th floor next to the gym. The hotel is super convenient for inner harbor & game day stays!"

"The Sonesta Hotel Baltimore Inner Harbor is tucked in a decent area of downtown Baltimore, not too far from the Harbor and about a 10-minute walk from the convention center. Be mindful at night that there are people walking around there are sometime people around the hotel area. Overall, the hotel entrance is nice, but the hold for accidental damage is an alarming $150, which you do get back after your stay. The hotel itself has fairly dimly lit floors. The Bed was comfortable, but there was no room service throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel has 3 elevators, one of which was out of service; my room was on the 6th floor. Furthermore, when I came back one day, both elevators were broken, and the only other elevator went only to the 5th floor, which was a bit annoying. The rooms don't have a microwave but do have a fridge to place your cold items. There were some damages, such as the toilet paper rollers not being tightened, and some rust around the bathroom door. Also, in the tub, there is shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, which is nice. My shower gel fell off the tub wall when I came back one day and broke. I took it to the reception desk and was told housekeeping would replace it, but it never was. Overall, I would stay again, but I am mindful that service is a bit slow and some requests take a while. "
