"Suwa Villa Arenal was delightful! A little oasis amid the bustle of La Fortuna. It has an inside/outside vibe--the rooms are inside (and air conditioned); the hallways, kitchen and common area are outside and covered, and there are beautiful planted areas (with big trees, a pool, and some outdoor amenities) that are outside but within the walls. One morning I sat in the common kitchen and listened for fifteen minutes to the birds in a large adjacent tree. We really did use the common kitchen and...

"One of a kind place amidst forest and reserve. Wood cabins gave a wonderful feel and the stay was very comfortable. It has all the necessities, and they also provide room service cleaning. Lots of animals and birds that you can see within the property. We saw Toucans, hummingbirds, parrots, spider monkeys, agouti etc. Would definitely come back!"

"From the time we booked the Villa to the moment we left as our vacation came to an end, it was PERFECTION. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was extremely clean, the A/C worked very well in all areas of the villa. It is very well manicured, great signage. The host is very communicative. We appreciated the complimentary two bottles of water and two beers in the fridge! We loved the touch of costa rican coffee, olive oil and simple spices! We cannot wait to book this again for a much longer...

"Absolutely breathtaking views! We stayed here with our three boys and had such an amazing experience. Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery. While we weren’t lucky enough to catch the volcano on a completely clear day, it was still worth every penny. We originally booked two nights and also stayed at Los Lagos, not realizing they are part of the same property. We honestly would have loved to extend our stay at the villas, but as you can imagine, they book up...

"The staff was all around fantastic and hospitable. The place was as clean as could be. I did not like finding clean towels sitting on top of dead bugs. The garden, pool, and small trail were absolutely gorgeous!!!! It was a nice view to wake up to."
