Bon emplacement

Hôtel très bien situé sur le boulevard avec vue sur la mer, à deux pas de la gare routière Caribe Tours, de restaurants et de lieux touristiques. C'est sa principale qualité. Chambre avec assez d'espace et propre avec un service de nettoyage tous les jours. Dans les points qui pourraient être améliorés, le cadre a un peu vieilli. Les espaces communs (fauteuils) sont assez poussiereux. Le petit dejeuner est un peu léger mais bon et dans la tradition de la cuisine créole haitienne. La climatisation ne fonctionne pas toujours, la faute au manque d'électricité au Cap mais la ventilation prend le relais. Insuffisant pour aérer et rafraichir suffisamment une chambre avec fenêtre condamnée. Au final, rapport qualité-prix moyen par rapport à ce que nous attendions. À réserver si l'emplacement est votre critère principal.

This place needs renovations and new management staffs. Until then, stay away from it. It's terrible.

Nothing to like. Time for check was long. There was no toilet paper either soap in the room.

This hotel is a little bit "tired" and needs to be updated, the common parts are cluttered and unappealing, but everything is clean and the staff save the day. From the excellent receptionist to the cleaner, everyone was there to help. The rooms were basic but also very clean. A/C leaked a bit but the water in the shower was hot and the internet worked throughout the hotel. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. I enjoyed my stay and would return without hesitation, even though it was perhaps, a little overpriced.

The help really friendly for this are and price would actually give a four, except the music from a bar close to hotel stopped at 0300. Ac drops daily like most local hotels breakfast good coffee really nice.

Stay at Beaurivage - Cap Haitien

When I arrived for check in hotels.com did not sent my confirmation to the hotel as I was trying to reach the customer service, the lady at the front desk allowed me to go in the room and even upgraded me to a seaview room with a balcony. The room and the toilet was very spacious. The hotel seems to be old and needs a refresh but the cleaning lady did a good job everyday. The owner is also a very friendly lady and have a chat with all guest as she s always in the lobby area at peak times. The location is also great. A few meters from one of Cap-Haitien's hottest restaurant and bar.

Good location but the hotel has a long way to go.

We had a reservation for 1 room with 2 beds. At checking, we were requested to pay an extra $330 because on the reservation, one adult was recorded. We called Expedia, but the system was down, we were told; so we could not be helped. We negotiated for $200. We spent the 10 days with no T.V. We found no remote, we asked and we were told that we would be provided with one but it never happened. The breakfast was limited to 2 items but ok. We asked for an iron, we couldn't get it because they don't let the guest take it to the room.

Not what I expected. If you want to be in the middle of the people it's not a bad location. Overall, the it's needs some work.

Good location but hotel in poor condition

The Beau Rivage was a very local hotel. The staff spoke very little English, which is something to be aware of if you don't speak French. The staff were very friendly, but didn't know much about getting around; how to arrange a visit to La Citadelle or the buses to the Dominican Republic. I went to another hotel to arrange this. The reception was a mess with wilted flowers and outdated posters, and the carpet in my room was so dirty I rolled it up in the corner. Otherwise the hotel has a good location and it's nice with the small supermarked next door.

Great location but lack of comfort and luster

Located south of street 24 on the Boulevard next door to Kokeyage Super market, bar and grill, and a short driving even strolling distance to Lakay bar restaurant, well-to-do hangout spot, the hotel, with a little investment, is well poised to deliver what it promises. We were in room 5. AC didn't cool the room off. TV took 2 snowy local channels that play sports, movies, and news intermittently. The floor in front of the closet is damaged. Chunks of broken concrete would make you feel imbalanced or even cut your feet it you're barefoot. What works in room: fridge, hot water, commode, fan, beds are made up daily. WiFi works downstairs in the dining room area. Staff was good even before tapping.

Wrong Choice-Stay Away.

The Front Desk staff will scam you. Although I already paid for my room online, they wanted to make a copy (front and back) of my debit card and driver license. I denied it because it is uncomfortable and did not trust the staff with my personal information. They additionally charged me for one of my friend because "hotel policy" do not allow two guests in a room. The showerhead fell on my head, the rooms have no door latches, there is no cable tv, hot water takes forever to come on. The room overall is not worth the price.
