"Very nice hotel and staff"

"Location, reception area, staff, breakfast, buildings, etc were all fantastic. Only our room (Diana side) felt a little out of date. The bathroom was great - modern fixtures, etc - but the furnishings in the sleeping area looked out of the 60's, the mattresses were very soft (double bed had two single mattresses), and there was no fridge. Our window also opened onto what looked like a private courtyard. There was AC, however, and no ambient noise at night, so we still had a great night's...

"Stairs to rooms on first floor, no elevator, so be prepared to carry luggage up and down. Lovely room with a view of plaza. Very comfortable and secure electronic locks. Safe was locked and unusable . Great location in heart of Lucca. Very clean and comfortable"
