"The hotel was very clean, bed was super comfortable and the staff was amazing as always, stayed here several times over the years …. The reality is the property is getting quite dated, the hotel has been open since 1961 and it definitely shows, with the proper updating this would once again be a top rated premium destination in Baddeck."

"The room was recently updated, new paint, new bathroom fixtures, etc. The bathroom could use more hooks and a shelf or two. Breakfast was really good but was not included in the room charge. The hotel is conveniently located near what we wanted to do."

"We stayed in the Kingfisher room. Very clean, renovated room. Great sized room with microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge. Comfy king size bed. Great to park right outside the room. Beautiful view of the water. Super friendly staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."
