"We booked this Hilton through Chase Travel with a decent discount. The room was on the 18th floor and had a gorgeous ocean view, which was nice. The room was clean, tight, and small. The bathroom was outdated, and the glass door in the shower didn’t have a proper seal, and after showering, it had a huge paddle/flooding stepping out. I reported it, but nothing was done, and I used so many towels to absorb all the water. The kitchen garbage had no plastic; they gave us a dishwashing pod when there was no dishwasher. And the refrigerator had a broken rack where you put your drinks. And the WiFi did not work at all. So if you’re trying to work remotely, it would be impossible. So that’s 2 stars in my opinion. I mean for a Hilton? But we enjoyed Virginia Beach and decided to stay longer and booked a different room. This room was on the 9th floor, city view. Which was a lot nicer, updated, and cleaner. Same size it seemed like but there was a tub, so no water leak there, there was plastic in the garbage and had dishwashing soap and sponge and the refrigerator was intact! The difference was astounding. However, WiFi although available on the 9th floor, did not work well for audio calls! And the second room is $40-50 cheaper per night, go figure!"
