My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baywood on the Bay. Sharon was very helpful in getting us settled and suggested restaurants that were open even though it was the beginning of off season. The view from the bedroom was breathtaking and the soaking tub was so nice after hiking around Kiptopeak State Park and Cape Charles. The breakfast was hot and very delicious.

We have stayed at many bed and breakfast homes and Baywood was by far the best. We had a waterfront balcony room that had an absolutely beautiful view of the bay. The host , Mike , was wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating . Excellent bountiful and delicious breakfast was served .

This is a lovely B & B. The owner, Mike, could not have been more personable and helpful. The views are lovely and the private beach is a huge perk. Breakfast each morning was delightful. This property served our needs very well for a few days of R & R in a beach setting not too far from home.

Even though we only stayed one night, we felt it was memorable. The room was spacious and clean. The room was quiet and we never heard another guest. Breakfast was very good and a lot of food. The steep stairs down to the beach were worth it because the shells were plentiful. The porch out back was a great place to have morning coffee and watch the boats. The only requests I would make would be to put a magnifying mirror in the bathroom to make applying makeup easier and mount a full length mirror. We will definitely come back and stay our next trip to the Eastern Shore.

Mike was an excellent host, doing all he could to respond to our needs. The bay view was beautiful and the windows of the house highlighted it. The bathroom was very nice and the bed gave us the best sleep we've had in months. Being the off season meant there were a number of places closed or with very short hours in the area, so there was less to do than we might have wanted.
