"First, I was in SHOCK when I first saw the NEW look of the LI. It looks like the inside of a Pier One Imports store. I have been a guest at the LI for at least 30 years…I could have cried, and did a bit, when I saw the old character of the inn just sandblasted away. I understand repairs were necessary, but to polish it all up in New York-y style, I thought, they want to be the Ocean House! And that bar? Good heavens! The Stone family ancestors must be turning in their graves. Our cottage was fine, but the bathroom could definitely have been cleaner. The sink needs to be attached to the wall properly…it is rickety."

"I stayed there 2 nights for a girl's trip and they did not clean my room. No breakfast offered and the restaurant is not open which is a shame bc it's a great space. No info was offered at check in about anything . I had to ask a lot of questions. Customer service was sub par but the pool and location was great . The room was clean but there were a lot of marks on the wall that need to be touched up..staff did accommodate me and the my friends and gave us rooms next to each other which I appreciated."

"Fabulous family vacation destination that is very well staffed with polite and professional employees. Everything is convenient and there are "plenty" in terms of pools (one is indoor, two are outdoor), pool chairs, beach loungers, etc. The "Bean Box" on the beach is a nice touch as is the multiple water stations throughout the property for hydration. Beach umbrellas were set up by the staff at no extra charge. Beach attendants (for lunch, drinks and cocktails) were attentive, friendly and polite. The Sam Adams Beach Bar is terrific - easy to access and perfect for those who want to stay on the beach during lunch. The food offereings were limited but good. Close to town with a lot of different shops, restaurants, etc. Can't beat the location of this resort - and we hope to return again soon."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Bayside Resort in West Yarmouth! The entire property was exceptionally clean, including our room. We especially loved having both an indoor and outdoor pool to enjoy, and the kids had so much fun playing in the arcade! The staff was excellent—friendly, attentive, and responsive to all of our needs. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the resort, especially the Adirondack chairs overlooking Lewis Bay and the cozy fire pits at night. The complimentary breakfast each morning was another wonderful amenity and made our stay even more enjoyable. Bayside Resort is a beautiful, relaxing, and family-friendly place to stay. We would absolutely return!"

"Our family of 5 had a wonderful time here. Across from the ferry Restaurants and Town center within walking distance. Lots of shopping in the town center Central Cape Cod location Best Ice cream right across the street Black Cat Restaurant is a must! They have a takeout window, a back area for casual dining, and main restaurant for upscale dining."

"Everything was excellent, but the last three times we've been there ( every year we book two rooms for 1 week in August) check-in is supposed to be at four and for past three years we've had to wait until almost 6 PM. I just can't understand it. They make you leave at 11 o'clock in the morning on the dot at check out but the rooms are never ready until 6 PM so why rush out if not ready or even started cleaning until probably 4? As a courtesy, if they make you wait two hours, they should automatically give you a late checkout or give you a complementary breakfast?"
