"We had a wonderful beach stay and would highly recommend. The staff were excellent-friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The property itself was clean and well-maintained throughout our visit. The amenities were a highlight: the pool and beach access were great, and they provided nice towels that made lounging by the water even better. One of our favorite parts of the trip was enjoying the music and firepit at the Rusty Nail-it was the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable beach getaway. We'll definitely be back."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The bed in the Joseph Page suite was very comfortable and the shower stall worked great. The verandas were wonderful- one on the second floor as well. The full hot breakfast was delicious- baked egg casserole with artichokes and cheese and roasted cherry tomatoes. We would book again. One word of caution- their parking is limited as it is too small for larger vehicles. Parking is allowed on the street although it can be limited."

"Beach view was great, the exterior was great, the staff were 5 star, and the pool was very nice. The interior restaurant was very dark and looked like more like a bar then a restaurant. The Room was fresh however two full size beds filled most of the room and for people who are older and heavier could not sleep together in one bed. The higher chairs and table was right next to the bed less then a foot away. They could not be used. Shower was great however, the basin was not in the room where the shower was. It was very awkward."

"Outstanding Location, Relaxed Charm! The Star Inn sits across from Congress Hall on Perry Street and is part of the Cape Resorts family. It's a sprawling, beach-house-style inn located just half a block from the beach, and it operates as a younger, more laid-back sibling to Congress Hall, offering integrated services and amenities. We stayed in room #8 on the third floor. It was a clean, well-kept room with a queen bed that felt larger than expected, along with a dresser and closet. Our bathroom was across a hall near an emergency exit, but that area is alarmed and off limits to keep things secure, and our room door leading to it locked as well. We really liked the setup. Worth noting: the third floor is accessible by stairs only. It's not an excessive climb, but anyone with mobility concerns or health issues should ask about accessibility before booking. Check-in was simple and pleasant. Cassandra, who runs the check-in desk and the small coffee and baking shop, was excellent. She was there throughout the day with a warm greeting and always asked how our stay was going. One of the best perks of staying at The Star Inn is full access to the Congress Hall pool and amenities, just a quick walk across the street (honestly, sometimes faster than walking there from within Congress Hall itself). The location overall is outstanding. The beach is about 460 feet away, Washington Street is a short walk in the other direction, and there are excellent restaurants within a quarter mile."

"We stayed at The Hugh for two nights in order to attend a wedding at Congress Hall. The location was absolutely perfect . . . we never had to get back in the car once we arrived and were happy that the car was safe in a monitored parking lot! We were able to walk from event to event without any issue. The breakfast menu was fabulous, the Ivory Room was just perfect, and John and Sandy were so very gracious, professional and accommodating. Thank you for making our first time in Cape May simply wonderful : )"
