The poor little o8 hotel

The hotel was very small nothing like the pictures, we were on the third floor had to take cases up no lift. No hot water, tap loose towel rail falling of the wall, light on bedside cabinet not working, no hairdryer as described on site . Very poor breakfast. How it got four stars I shall never know.

The location is ok, at least a 2 km walk from anywhere you'd want to go as a tourist/visitor...nothing really in the immediate vicinity. On the positive side, it did feel relatively safe, and I did like the off-street parking option for the one night that I kept a rental car there. However, the room itself and service were lacking in many ways; among them: The room has a lot of cabinetry, which I suppose is great if you're staying long enough to fully unpack, but I don't do that for fewer than 5 nights. 2. There was very little place to put things aside from in cabinets. Not a lot of surface space; no hooks to hang things, etc. 3. The room smelled musty and always felt damp. 4. There was a heat/AC unit, but the batteries in the controller were dead, so that was useless. 5. There was a hair dryer, but the plug on it wasn't compatible with any outlet in the room/bathroom 6. The bathroom had almost NO flat surface to put toiletries, etc. The shower had none at all, so you had to keep any soap/shampoo on the floor and bend down to get them. 7. The room was dirty and there was quite a bit of hair in the bathroom when we arrived. 8. There is a safe but the operating instructions didn't match it, so I locked myself out on first attempt, leaving me to keep any valuables locked in my suitcase. 9. They don't provide drinking water or ice. There is a drinking water dispenser in the breakfast area, but they don't allow guests to fill water bottles; it has to be bought.

Beliggenheten var bra, i et rolig område. Et lite hotell. Servicen var veldig bra. Bassengområdet var ikke spesielt innbydende, og det var mye rusk i vannet. Ingen heis, så det egner seg ikke for de som er avhengig av det. Rommet var det ok størrelse på, men med vegg- til- vegg tepper som ikke har vært rengjort på en stund. Pent bad, men vann fra dusjen fløt utover alt. Vi hadde forventet mer av et 4 stjerners hotell.

Wonderful employees !!

Basic clean rooms, nothing special but nice and simple !! All people working there were helpful and wonderful !! Breakfast was OK. Think I might have been the only one staying at the hotel so the breakfast was quite simple. Continental including eggs / sausage / bacon.

Opção tranquila na Cidade do Cabo.

O hotel, que mais se assemelha a uma guesthouse, se localiza numa rua tranquila, residencial, sem muitas opções de restaurante nas proximidades. A recepção não funciona 24 h, e o café da manhã precisa ser pedido no dia anterior, se for algo mais sofisticado que um ovo mexido. Equipe atenciosa, quarto grande e confortável.

It was kinda OK...on the bright side - bathroom is very spacious, convenient and bright and parking is on sight (room for 4 cars). Room is OK. We booked a room + bfast and showed the hotel it is included in our reservation but the hotel showed me the reservation they received and it didn't have breakfast... Pool is almost forced into the back yard, was dirty and not inviting but anyways was too cold to use it. The electricity outlets in the room didn't work so no coffee and charging phones...not sure what was wrong. Anyways - we spent less than 12 hours and continued. Wasn't a disaster and price was fair.

A very private little stayover.

The quietness and privacy afforded during my 3 day stay was appreciated. The easy access to restaurants and the promenade made for very pleasant walks beside the ocean. The staff were friendly and caring and assisted with my requests courteously.

O hotel me decepcionou. Talvez eu tenha criado muita expectativa por ser um hotel 4 estrelas. É um hotel pequeno, sem elevador, o café da manhã é limitado, as toalhas eram péssimas e o ar condicionado fazia muito barulho. Me parecia mais um hostel do que um hotel. Os recepcionistas foram simpáticos.
