"This hotel has just been taken over by new owners the staff were saying, so are putting a lot of money into it to get it up to 4 star. The staff were so helpful, my room was great ,and with the improvements it'll only get better. What a location too, loved we were looking out over the ocean, and an easy walk into town. I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back."

"Island was great . Staff were excellent . Our beachfront cabin had a problem with a shower door that was so badly hung that it was a squeeze to get into and out of. We reported the issue but nothing could be done for our stay ….the solution being to dismantle and renovate the shower . Staff said they would remove the cabin from letting until the shower was fixed ."

"Great location. Only 15min walk from the city. Perfect for solo travellers who prefer to be away from the hustle and busyness of family/ common areas. Stunning view from balcony and nice walkways along the esplanade. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the pillows were the best I've had in any accom anywhere I've travelled. My room had a door into the next room & this meant it was noisy when kids were staying next door. The food was a bit on the pricey side for what it was. But overall I enjoyed...

"We had a good overnight stay, the pool was nice and pool towels provided. We ate at the adjoining restaurant, the meal was lovely! You have to pay and order at the counter which unfortunately wasn't explained when we were shown to our booked table. The rooms did have a strong wood polish smell. A gorgeous sunset view from our room, facing the main street. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be helpful, the only one was in the bathroom, but overall was a good place to stay."
