Maintenance tried to adjust the cooling in the air conditioning system but did not have sufficient cooling I had to put the system on 10 (C) with a high fan. This may have been a problem if the weather was hot. I believe we were in Room 1016 - deluxe bedroom

Good hotel; great recommendations when looking for a beautiful fresh flower arrangement! The chapter house at Cardiff market. Breakfast is good.

Great location. Close to everything. Request a room away from mill lane as the road has a lively party scene and can get noisy.

Cracked window in our room , mosquitos everywhere. Maintenance stalk knew about this room , previous couple in room had a fight , lady threw something & cracked window , blood everywhere & outside room . Surely if cleaners knew about the room why were we allocated it ? We are regular visitors !!! In fairness we were given another room quickly 👍👍

Lovely staff and good sized rooms. Nice and close to bars, restaurant and train station. Noisy with having bars outside so may impact some people with kids. Bathroom could have done with updating as it's the only thing that let the hotel down slightly. Brilliant with our kids and lovely that there was an Easter trail for the morning of Easter Sunday

I stayed there for 2 nights and really liked it. I arrived by train what made the location perfect, just 5 minutes walking and I was there. Very nice restaurant, I definitely recommend it!

Great location and lovely staff. The only negative was the air handling/ventilation system in the room was quite noisy, even when the heating/AC was turned off.

As soon as we walked through the door there was a smile and a warm welcome! Check in was in minutes, the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended

Fantastic stay amazing staff
Amazing service from the moment we stepped in the door. Sapphire on reception was an absolute star. Even offered us an upgrade on our room for executive room and lounge for a small fee (which we paid). Executive room was lovely clean and spacious- however a tad warm (despite trying to cool the room via various methods it remained on the warmer side - but didn’t spoil the stay) The executive lounge was immaculate and had a wide variety of drinks and snacks - catering to various dietary requirements (all self service) included with the cost of the room. You could only gain access with your room key (and only executive room keys work). In the evening there were alcoholic drinks available and warm snacks (chicken wings, rice etc) all fresh and warm - checked by staff regularly. Breakfast was also included in the lounge- warm options of bacon, sausage etc and cereal. The restaurant in the hotel is Browns - we regularly visit the one in Birmingham so know we enjoy the food - added bonus of having this available as room service here. Cannot wait to stay again!

Functional and clean
A clean, functional hotel. Disappointed that there was no table/ dressing table and chair in the room so nowhere to put items. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom clean but shower head was broken meaning you had to hold it to shower. Expensive for type of room.
