Cari Taman Karavan di Carmel

"Property is at the top of the town so a long way from the beach, but easy access to the main shopping and dining options of Ocean Ave. The property is in excellent condition and the staff were friendly and obliging. I had a room on the 5th floor which had a wonderful view across the town to the ocean."

"The Normandy is a beautiful cozy inn tucked in the shopping district of Carmel by the sea. Perfect for walking to the cafe for breakfast or a romantic dinner around the corner."

"Really like the hotel the lady that I believe probably owns It was very sweet, pleasant and helpful. She had good tips for us where to go. The only drawback was there was no microwave in our room and I had some yummy leftovers and I would've loved to have heated them before we had to leave . But other than that, I would stay again."

"The location was nice, but the rooms and property seemed very dated. Not sure we felt like the rooms were clean. They certainly could use a fresh painting. There were many plastic patches around the room which made you suspect about what was going on. Also not well insulated you could hear guests in other rooms and all the traffic outside. Would recommend checking out other options if you're in the area."

"Really enjoyed our stay here - lovely room with high quality furnishings and linen. The breakfast and happy hour were really great touches! Parking a bit tricky - small spaces and limited. Having said that, we always got parked! Great location in the centre of Carmel! Staff also super helpful arranging to post an item we accidentally left behind. We would absolutely stay again!"

"Hotel Carmel was amazing. The lobby was so adorable. The hotel provides a free happy hour with wine and sangria, chocolate chip cookies and daily breakfast. The room was large, very clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay again."

"We stayed at La Playa for our mini moon and it was wonderful. We absolutely want to come back. Beautiful, well located, super friendly and attentive staff, excellent breakfast and just great all around. We felt spoiled."

"Terrific breakfast; excellent housekeeping. So very helpful being able to check in a little early after a full day of traveling. Absolute professional, yet friendly staff combined with luxury all around. Loved the location to shopping, restaurants and the beach! The courtyard is beautiful, although some short-term visitors claim the entire space as their own as an office, talking louding on the phone or as a party gathering. This isn't thoughtful of others who have paid for quiet and relaxation...

"The hotel is just so dreamy, clean, and comfortable, absolutely fits the Carmel vibe."

"Very comfortable room, bed was very great. Amenities on property like free bikes, putting green, and multiple fire places make the property very comfortable for relaxing and enjoyment."

"We enjoyed our stay there. It’s very cute and close to the beach."

"Would definitely stay here again. It was so convenient to downtown and the beach nd restaurants and decorated very well with the best breakfast!!! The employees were so friendly and helpful. 5 stars!!"
