It is a 35 minute walk to Playa Magdalena, so you might find better to rent a bike, to make it easier to move to the other beaches and around town. "Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadia en el hotel, tener el mar y la playa del Sardinero enfrente es hermoso, solo sugeriríamos ampliar los horarios de la piscina en verano aunque sea una hora mas temprano y una hora mas tarde, ya que de 11 a 7 es justamente cuando uno esta fuera conociendo y fue una las razones para reservar y solo logramos ir media hora un dia. Los cuartos de loft muy bonitos y comodos."

"La douche est un bac de 70x70cm avec une ouverture de 35cm. Si vous faites plus de 65kg impossible d’y rentrer et de bouger dedans. De plus aucun feutres sous les pieds de la table et de la chaise et les crissements à chaque déplacement dans cet espace confiné, tard le soir ou tôt le matin réveille tout l’immeuble. Les boîtes à clés sont mal éclairées obligeant à sortir sa torche tout en manipulant le code."

"Everything was perfect! The suite we had was spacious, the bed for the adults and the extra bed for the kid were comfortable, the shows had great water pressure. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious. The outdoor pool was phenomenal. We did not use the spa services because they were not open for children."

It has a gastro dining experience and the restaurant seemed very popular with local visitors but plenty of room. "Great location and lovely staff who were friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that, but it's close to lots of cafes and bars etc. The only comment was the shallow shower tray meant the bathroom got very wet and we struggled to keep it dry. A small fridge would have been ideal as well as it can get very hot in Santander."

"Nice gardens surrounding the house/palace in an isolated natural place inviting to relaxing and enjoy nature. Only 30 minutes to Santoña and other attractions. Restaurant team very friendly but people at reception were not friendly not knowledgeable, so making some situations uneasy. Only breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel restaurants. Food was quite good. A couple of local small restaurants in the town. We likes Casa de Montaña."
