"The gymnasium equipment was out of order for the entire time I was there and there was one day with no TV either. Staff seemed to be doing only the bare minimum and there was no eye contact, friendly smile or greeting as I walked in and out of the hotel. Safe, clean and Functional but not much more than that"

"The male host who picked us up from the airport and checked us in was very friendly and helpful. As there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, he lent us some mugs, plates, cutlery etc. ( we had a travel kettle and coffee) He told us about the little shop next door , which was tiny and barely sold anything, so we found an Aldi 10 mins walk away. "Magnifique! Moi et mes copains y sommes restés une nuit avant un vol tôt le matin! Bien que le vol ait été tellement retardé que j'écris encore cela depuis l'aéroport, j'ai passé une très bonne nuit de sommeil. Je ne sais pas si je verrais un jour le chateau d'Édimbourg, mais je suis fier de pouvoir affirmer que l'ibis budget de l'aéroport de Charleroi est pour l'instant le highlight de notre voyage. Mention bonus pour le personnel de l'hôtel, bien plus précis que les indications de départ...

When my car's battery died on a Sunday 6:00 am when the entire town was asleep, and no help was available, they did everything they could to help me. They jump started my car and I was eventually able to continue on my way. These are the nicest people you can imagine.
