"This place is freaking fantastic.
Country Mountain Inn is tucked back in the woods up in the mountains and feels like you’re actually getting away from everything — but somehow you’re still just a few minutes from downtown Eureka Springs. It’s even on the trolley route, so you can go enjoy all the downtown craziness and then come back to actual peace and quiet. Best of both worlds.
David, one of the owners, is sooo nice and just genuinely fun to talk to. Not the fake “hotel nice” either — just a good dude who makes you feel welcome.
And whoever decided the office needed legit coffee deserves some recognition. 😂 The regular coffee is really good, but they also make espressos and lattes, and those are actually good too. Not something I was expecting from a little mountain inn, but I am absolutely not complaining.
The room is cozy, the bed is ridiculously comfortable, and the whole property just has that perfect tucked-away-in-the-woods feel without being inconveniently far from anything.
We came here hoping for a relaxing weekend in Eureka Springs and pretty much immediately decided this is now going to be at least a yearly thing. Next time we’re bringing friends.
Seriously — if you want to stay close to Eureka Springs without feeling like you’re sleeping in the middle of Eureka Springs, stay here. We’ll absolutely be back."
