"One of the most incredible places we have ever stayed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was beyond what we expected. We had no idea what a gem was placed just outside of our own home. We had a perfect staycation. so we could jump on the train from Carson City to Virginia City and it was excellent. We loved the rooms, the food, and the spas. Everything was more than we could have imagined. I would highly recommend."

"Very disappointed with my stay. The hotel appears to be in serious need of renovation and better housekeeping. The room felt outdated and poorly maintained. The carpet was worn throughout the property, and there were signs posted acknowledging that carpet repairs and replacement were needed. The chair in my room was stained, the furniture showed significant wear, and the ironing board cover was torn and stained. The bathroom was clean enough to use, but it was extremely dated, and the overall condition gave the impression that little investment has been made in the property for many years. The hallways and common areas looked neglected, and the overall appearance of the hotel did not match what I expect from a professional lodging establishment. Cleanliness and maintenance are basic expectations for any hotel, regardless of price point, and this property fell short in several areas. The staff was courteous, but the condition of the facility overshadowed the experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it until significant improvements are made to the rooms, carpets, furnishings, and overall upkeep. Free wine 🍷 won't fix the problems"

"Great location, excellent room on the 5th floor! Everything seemed fresh & new after the recent remodel. Fun in the casino downstairs, great drinks. Restaurant was a bit lacking for breakfast, they were “slammed”, probably due to a lack of other options in the area. Food came out cold, a bit slow but friendly service. She was trying! Free, secure parking out front - I wasn’t worried about my bike in the back of the truck. Will definitely return at some point!👍"

"There was an error on the booking for my 81 year old mother. They said they called, but our phones showed no call. The said she was supposed to be out by 11:00am which she did not know. They went into her room and packed up her belongings and kicked her out!!!!! She was very upset and did not know what to do. I live in Minnesota and she was in Carson City, Nevada, on a trip to visit family and see her Great Great Granddaughter graduate from high school. The trip was great until this. The staff was extremely rude to her and the family driving her!! There is no excuse to treat elderly people this was, and they certainly had no right to touch her stuff. She had already spent over $1500.00 there,so adding one night should not have been a problem. Will never stay at this location again,and neither should you!!"
