The staff is super nice. 24 hr front desk. They sent us a taxi to the airport for 60 mil pesos which is ok, we landed almost at midnight. The wall a/c didn't do the job. The hotel looks clean.

Low cost, low quality

We arrived from San Andrés at 10pm and our flight back home was the very next day at 6am so we had to be at the airport around 4am. We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and we only needed to rest for a few hours and a shower. Small room, clean sheets, old towels but clean
 no hot water
 thank God Cartagena is a hot place so the water is not too cold but if you need a hot shower, not a place to stay

Convenient stay very very close walk to the airport. Says laundry on their website, they have laundry service and you"ll get it next day but no laundry room for one self to do. Other than that check in was at 4pm not 3pm. Had a little trouble with their wifi connection and TV did not work. Overall not bad stay for being close to airport!!!!

It was very noisy throughout the night as my room was near the lobby area, there was a dead bug in the room, the bed was too near the door, just in double electrical plug, the bathroom was a great size but its design wasnt great. Bearly any room to put things, the mirror had dried spit and the decor was falling. Breakfast was also limited and you cant get any water or drinks after 4pm, so ordering in is ths only choice. People were really njce at checkin and checkout.

The most comfortable bed we've slept in all trip!! A little out of the central part of Cartagena (10 mins in a taxi to old town), but a great hotel in a quiet neighbourhood.

Overall was comfortable. Wifi did not work in our rooms and we later discovered it only seemed to work in the patio area. Breakfast was good. It was quiet to sleep and air conditioning worked well.

This hotel was very disappointing. The room was so completely different from the photos on the website. We both felt incredible uncomfortable and decided to rebook to another hotel within 5 minutes of arriving.

we went from and to the airport walking (with big suitcases, bags and a baby!) and it was ok! the people were friendly all the time. wifi ok. breakfast could be better. there was no hot water in the shower...

great, convenient location

Nice and close to the airport so you can walk there. There is a park nearby that you can walk or jog at night that is safe and well lit as it is used by its citizens. We took a transport to Barranquilla and the location was perfect to get out to the highway. I would rate it higher except that we had our room in the second level requiring carrying luggage using a winding and narrow stair with 13 steps. Not for those with mobility issues.

Too much noise!

My room was near the entrance and the noise and talking would not allow me to sleep. I initially thought it was the guest. But, at night and earl3in the morning it was actually the staff. I would think that at least the staff would make an attempt to lower their voices at night at during the early morning...no!!! I have stayed at Mucura before this last stay was horrible for me and I'm a deep sleeper. I'm very disappointed as I like the properties convenience to the airport.

Beware: No Hot Water and Poor Service

Beware: there was no hot water during our stay and several other guests we spoke with had little to no water at all. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt, but strongly believe the hotel staff were instructed to play games with the water situation. When we arrived in the afternoon, we told the evening/night clerk there was no hot water. He claimed various things, including that it was broken, that it had been shut off and didn't know how to turn it back on, and that the water really wasn't that cold anyway (which it was). He finally said the morning staff could fix it (of course, they too said they didn't know how but would call someone).After we repeatedly asked about the water and threatened not to pay our bill, that person arrived at 11 am (right while we were checking out) and apparently did switch it on. So, it appears the hotel intentionally turned it off and told staff to stall in trying to fix/turn it back on. Yes, the hotel is close to the airport (it's best feature) but for only a short cab ride and less than $10 more per night, we had much better accommodations in the heart of the old city. Seriously think twice about staying here and/or try the water as soon as you arrive and begin complaining immediately if it's not working.
