"Check-in was a breeze. John at the front desk was fantastic. Like another reviewer said, he makes an excellent Tom Collin’s during their kickback evening dinner. Helen was super friendly to all the guest as well. The food really wasn’t that bad. Pulled pork, beans, coleslaw, hotdogs, nachos, salad, and an assortment of drinks for kids and adults. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Got a great nights sleep. Other guests seemed nice. Was a great place to stay when passing through Poplar Bluff and we will make this are regular place anytime we pass through here in the future. "

"We will not be staying here again. Everything was very dirty and outdated. I won't say that the toilet at least was clean. We also noticed that most people did not eat breakfast there, nor did we. The curtains in her room were half falling down, the TV was on when we walked into the room and when we came to shut it down we realized why... You couldn't shut it down so we simply unplugged it. Refrigerator was unplugged the things that we put in there did not stay cold, it too was unplugged. The heat was on in the room instead of the air conditioner this is the end of the month of May.
