"We had a wonderful week at the Palazzo Firenze by Baglioni Hotels & Resorts. The hotel is located a short walk from the center of Florence. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much for them. Their recommendations for restaurants were also excellent especially the Natalino which was 5 minutes walk from the hotel."

Walking distance to all the main attractions if that what you are planning, and also walking distance to restaurants, shopping and if you are adventurous, across the bridge to the less tourist-y local restaurants and shops. "The hotel staff here were so helpful. They went over what not to miss in Florence which takes extra time, so we highly appreciated this. We discovered that our apartment was inside of an ancient coliseum. So much history! They greeted us with a cold drink and it was so refreshing on a very hot day. In the morning, they had coffees and pastries available which was unexpected. Thank you so much! A wonderful stay!"

"It’s more like an old broken cheap motel. Room is clean enough but when you get out of the shower the shower towel is soaking wet because of water leaking from the shower towel the bathroom floor, the floor feels dirty and bathroom is wet, I wouldn’t dare to walk barefoot. $230 per night for that quality during June, I expect something better. We stayed in Rome for a similar price range, room is 10 times better."

"Perfectly positioned in a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the Duomo. The reception staff speak excellent English, and are very helpful. The restaurants they recommended were very good, and were all within easy walking distance (old Florence is not a place to take your car due to narrow streets and limited parking). Our deluxe room was large and very comfortable, and old frescoes on the walls and the vaulted ceilings in the public areas made this a unique place to stay. The little internal...
