"We had a truly wonderful experience at Skamania Lodge. We stayed in the treehouse, and it was absolutely beautiful—very nice, cozy, and such a unique experience. We loved it. The restaurant service was excellent, and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The ladies at the gift shop were especially kind and helpful and did a great job. The spa and swimming pool area were also a highlight. LauraBeth, who works in that area, was incredibly kind, gentle, and helpful. She took the time to help me find directions and made the experience feel very welcoming. One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the zip line experience. The entire staff—from the front desk to the zip line team—was absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Tucker and Adrianna, who were outstanding. They were professional, kind, and incredibly supportive, guiding us step-by-step and making us feel comfortable throughout all seven zip lines. The zip line experience itself was truly exceptional and far beyond expectations. It’s nothing like you imagine until you’re there. We highly recommend everyone try it—it was thrilling, well organized, and unforgettable. Skamania Lodge truly goes above and beyond. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this experience to others."

"I’ve stayed at plenty of "luxury" hotels that couldn't get the basics right, but this Hampton Inn reminded me why they are my go-to for travel. It was clean, comfortable, and completely seamless. Why this stay stood out: • The "Hampton Bed": I don’t know what kind of magic they put in their mattresses, but I slept better here than I do at home. The linens were crisp, and having a choice of "Soft" and "Firm" pillows is a small detail that makes a huge difference. • The Breakfast Spread: Let’s be honest—we’re all here for the fresh waffles. The breakfast area was kept incredibly clean, the coffee was actually hot and strong, and there were plenty of healthy options (oatmeal, fresh fruit) to balance out the syrup. • Reliable WiFi & Workspace: As someone who had to take a few Zoom calls, I really appreciated the stable connection and the ergonomic desk setup in the room. • The Staff: The front desk team was a delight. I arrived one hour before check-in, and instead of a "sorry, come back later," they worked their magic to get me into a room early so I could freshen up. The Verdict: If you want a spot-on location, a room that actually feels clean, and a staff that treats you like a neighbor rather than a reservation number, this is the place. It’s the ultimate "no-surprises" hotel—in the best way possible."
