"The staff, Kevin Buestan, is the rudest and condescending front desk person I’ve ever met in New York. We travel to NY on a regular basis and stayed at different hotels. We chose Shelbourne Sonesta this time because the room floor plans are big compare to other new hotels. I won’t be coming back to this hotel and WILL NOT recommend because of how Kevin treated us. We booked 3 rooms for 6 nights, so it wasn’t cheap. But we didn’t get the standard treatment with courtesy. The lady manager was nice...

"We found a big cockroach in our room and asked our room to be changed. When they gave us the keys to the new room, that room was occupied by a person who was thankfully sleeping and did not hear us come in. A security breach in al sense. After that they did give us a better room that was clean and unoccupied."

"Our room was spacious with a good amount of space to put our belongings into the closet and dresser drawers. Loved the microwave that allowed us to warm up food and drinks. It was convenient to various eating establishments and a sundry store that allowed us to purchase things on the run.
It would have been nice if there was a clock in the room (other than the tiny one on the microwave way at the front of the room). Grab bars in the shower for older people to prevent slipping would have been a...
