"Our room was great - good size and very clean. We had a fabulous view from our balcony across to the port of Amalfi. Breakfast was on the first floor balcony which also had a great view over the beach and port. Breakfast was not a buffet as we have been used to so options were limited but the coffee and staff were great! The location of the hotel was so central to everything in Amalfi town - the cathedral, restaurants, the bus and ferry stations. Highly recommend Hotel Residence in Amalfi. "

"Wonderful budget hotel option with valley views down to the Mediterranean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Our host was very friendly and helpful. Parking is provided just off the main parking lot for a discounted rate, and our host helpfully parked for us so we wouldn’t have to navigate the tight corners. Location couldn’t be better - literally steps to the piazza duomo and villa rufolo. Note : The market is in the parking lot on Tuesdays and they start setting up around 5am so it is...

"It’s a beautiful property. We just visited and the season is nearly over so we were not able to use the pool or the grotto. The breakfast was very nice and you could ask for made to order eggs, fresh juice and coffee. We had amazing massages outside on a terrace arranged by the staff. They also went out of their way to help us with our private transfers. It was so peaceful, It felt like a true slice of paradise!"

"Had the best experience since even before we got to the hotel. Staff was very accommodating to getting us picked up and brought to hotel, transportation to Positano was so smooth and a breeze. The food was magnificent, check out their restaurant. So good! the room was very clean and elegant. I would 100% recommend this to anyone and I would stay here again "

"Very nice hotel! We booked a room with an over look and a jacuzzi tub. The water didn’t stay warm enough to fill the tub, but the room was overall very nice. The views were beautiful, the staff so nice and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again! "
