"The porsenna resort is a wonderful quiet retreat in the country side . It is very close to several touristy towns and has easy access roads . The rooms are large , but the shower is small . The included breakfast is amazing . The view is spectacular , very nice sunset view while having an aperitif."

The staff in particular were absolutely wonderful and couldn’t do any more for us with highly recommend staying here. The food in the restaurant is also very good and we ate here on two evenings. During the 13th and 14th centuries the hotel was a hospital and an orphanage . Wasn’t thrilled with the restaurant , but that of course is a matter of taste. All in all , I enjoyed the 3 night stay , using it as a base to visit Perugia (30 minutes drive) and Assisi (also 30 minutes). "This really is a phenomenal location and property. Although we could only stay one night due to our itinerary, we were able to enjoy an afternoon at the pool, dinner al fresco with a beautiful sunset and then full moon rise. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The rooms are very nice and the staff is great too. It was worth it and I would stay again"
