"Suite rooms ran down to unbearable condition. Bedding and furniture are old and damaged. Electric appliances outdated and damaged. Ceramic tiles very old and cracked. Bedding sheets were not cleaned and had spots on them."

"I have stayed in many bed and breakfast hotels across Europe and Italy. This is by far the best I have ever stayed. The location is not super fantastic. It’s next to a main road but we can’t hear anything in the room. The room is simple but super super clean and well maintained. Comes with very clean toilet and shower. Mini fridge. Our window looks out to groves of olive tree. Highly recommended!"

"Das Zimmer und die Anlage waren sauber. Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer gebucht, doch leider wusste das Hotel nichts davon und wollte uns ein " normales" Zimmer geben. Nach einer kurzen Wartezeit und eine "Cola" aufs Haus, war doch ein Zimmer frei. Leider fanden wir die Cola beim Check out auf der Rechnung und mussten 20 min der Dame erklären, dass es eigentlich eine Einladung war. "This is a B&B in an apartment building, not an actual hotel, so that was a surprise. It's also several blocks walk away from the centro storico of Tropea, so the surrounding area is full of busy apartments and streets that are distinctly uncharming. However, the facility was SO NICE and the air-conditioning was amazing, and the service was very personal and caring. I was happy to be treated so kindly. "Hotel Tirreno is truly a place to relax and re-energize yourself. Staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout out stay. Rooms were very comfortable and clean.
