"The hotel is in a good location near the river and a walk from the station. When we arrived the lift wasn’t working and we found out that the restaurant wasn’t open in the evening. Tricky when you arrive at supper time. Our room was clean and breakfast was good although you had to figure it out yourself. The lift wasn’t working soon fixed and Monforte is an interesting small town in a lovely area with lots of places to visit."

"Comfortable stay deep in the mountains with stunning views and pleasing decor, except for the insects that bothered just one of us at night The apartment had 3 levels with the steep stairs to the bathroom below, it took time to get used to it. The road close to the location is narrow, curvy and challenging but worth the drive. The host did not speak English. The kitchen had everything we needed except for the lid for the kettle. We appreciate that place like that existed deep in nature."
