"This is a nice quiet hotel with a pool, which is hard to find in Avalon. It is very clean and great amenities It has a very convenient shuttle to downtown, and to the heliport and the ferry station. The very friendly drivers make a round every 15 minutes. I do wish that the hotel had full length mirrors their rooms. The restaurant on the grounds is NOT run by the hotel, but by a private company. The food is excellent. And the prices are good. The Service however, is extremely slow. Quite a wait after you seat yourself until your order is taken, and then a very long wait until you receive your food. It took an hour before I was served a simple breakfast, They need more help in the kitchen. The wait is worth it if you have the time. I have stayed at this hotel several times, and I will be back."

"Dirty room, all the furniture old and all the paint falling apart. I stayed in the 4th floor didn’t have an elevator. The stairs were to steep. This is the worse hotel I been $750 for one night is ridiculous.I went for breakfast I came at 11:15 am and I couldn’t get in my room they locked. Very disappointed "

"Overall this was a not so good experience, even for staying one night. Building was very poorly maintained, multiple “out of service” signs and management had poor customer service. Top floor had trash cans to catch water from leaking roof, and the equipment room was extraordinarily loud. Room had a poor presentation as far as how bed was made, and towel arrangements. Sheets seemed like they were not changed. There was a lot of body hair laying on the fitted sheet and pillow cases. Will never stay at this location again, possibly even motel 6s."
