"Overall, experience was really great. The air-conditioning worked great, the room was clean. The bed was soft and comfortable to sleep on. There was a beautiful ocean view that I could see from my bed. It was in walking distance to everything, restaurants and bars and the beach so the location was ideal. It was definitely a good choice for my birthday weekend. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again. "

"I had an amazing stay at the Pavilion Hotel on Catalina Island and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Avalon. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt welcoming and well-organized. The location is perfect—just steps away from the beach, shops, and restaurants, which made it incredibly convenient to explore everything without needing transportation. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The beds were cozy, and everything felt fresh and relaxing after a long day out on the island. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything spotless throughout our stay. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was a plus, especially when trying to plan activities or stay connected. One of the highlights of the stay was the hotel’s courtyard—it’s beautiful, peaceful, and a great place to unwind. The fire pits in the evening were a really nice touch and created a relaxing atmosphere. It made the whole experience feel more special and memorable. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Whether we had questions about the area or needed assistance, they were quick to respond and made sure we felt taken care of. "For the most part it was a great experience. Check in was later than I had expected. It was at 4pm but I was able to go do some activities and come right back. I like that they had beach floaties and beach towels available so we were able to borrow them and return without any problems. What I didn’t like it that the walls are way tooo thin. So you can hear people walk and closing doors. Made it difficult to sleep. Overall 4 star "
