The hotel is out of town in a beautiful location near the river. Szentendre can easily be reached by bus or river walk.
it is near to a very good restaurant by the river.
The hosts are very helpful and friendly.

Excellent and peaceful location. Spa and amenities are within nice standard, just too bad that you have to pay extra for using sauna. Cleaning is a bit questionable as during our 4 days and 3 nights stay, nobody changed our bedsheets or towels. Also, the mattress was perhaps old and too used, lumpy and deep in the middle which gave me backaches. Overall, happy with our stay.

On checking in at the reception, staff did not seem that welcoming and tended to people who were after us. This improved over the next few days as a result of different staff members. Facilities were very good. With the Aquaworld next door and thermal spa within hotel grounds, it suited every member in our group (11 of us). The one downside is that the shuttle bus times were not very convenient and too infrequent. Only 4 a day and it seemed to cater to locals coming for Aquaworld and not to the...

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 day/3 night stay at the Oktogon Haggenmacher to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First of all the hotel is visually stunning, the rooms are clean and well appointed too. We opted for a top floor double superior room with breakfast included. The breakfast itself was delicious with a wide selection of food available. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Danube and surrounding attractions, I would suggest buying a city card as this...

We had an amazing time the in Four Seasons Gresham Palace. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very luxurious. The hotel staff were all fluent in English and were only too happy to help with whatever we needed, for example, booking taxis for us, offering us robes & towels to take to the Turkish Baths. The Spa at the hotel was lovely and clean and although the pool was only small (two lanes) we often had it all to ourselves.

We had a 2 night pre Xmas stay and what a hotel we chose. Perfect central location for everything. Shopping, markets and our river cruse. Everything was within a 10 min walk. Hotel fantastic. Breakfasts superb and wonderful staff and service. Faultless.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a super time. The hotel is very recently refurbished to an excellent standard, our room upgraded by the way was spacious, beds were very comfortable, shower room/toilet spotless.
The service everywhere was excellent, from Andrew’s welcome, Flora’s support to the bell boys, especially the tall one, almost a friendly giant!
We thoroughly enjoyed the spa, managed by a helpful smiling young lady. The complimentary ’Afternoon Delight’ was much appreciated, the...

Great hotel, location is great to explore Budapest, facilities are amazing, spa is a must, if you can get concert tickets for onsite theatre that would be great. A small comment about steam room which was broken for our 4 days stay, and a small comment about cleaning in rooms that needs to improve. I would still go again there.
