"It was a great place to stay. Up on the side of a hill looking down on the Douro river. Beautiful room and spacious bathroom. We had a balcony with our room. The hosts were great and knowledgeable of things to do. Great breakfast in the morning. Even had a decanter of port wine for tasting. Definitely would stay again."

The wine tasting experience was great and plenty of options that suit what you are looking for, especially if you have a budget. Staff were friendly and helpful. "All I can say is run to this Quinta! This was the highlight of our trip, by far. The staff was exceptional; as is the property which was very clean. We stayed at the outer building and had a pool all to ourselves, along with a lemon tree & breathtaking views. The restaurant on the property was great and the breakfast was just right, offering plenty of fresh options. The wait staff was friendly and professional, offering great wine paring options for every course of every meal. A short walk brings you to the nearby city where you can take a river cruise or walk to two other vineyards to do a wine tasting. The staff arranged a driver to take us to other Quintas for wine, cheese, bread and honey tastings. It was fabulous. We will be back for sure!!!"

"The room was very clean and well equipped, nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after. Breakfast was lovely including home made jams, marmalade and fresh bread. The food in general was amazing, we had dinner on our first evening and then the dinner and wine tasting on the second night. Luis the owner did the wine tasting and he was very informative and a proud wine producer from the Douro Valley. All the staff were amazing and looked after us really well. We were all made to feel extremely welcome ( even our dog 🐶 Buddy) I can’t recommend this Quinta highly enough. Also the property was well positioned to explore all of the Douro Valley.
