"The staff is very friendly. We arrived early in a rainy day. Luckily the staff allowed us to check in early. The hot spa is excellent. One minus is the TV connection is not very stable. It probably may be affected by the stormy weather! "

"We are so glad we chose The Bergson for our stay in Calistoga, so near the action of the hot springs and restaurants. The establishment is a quaint country inn, thoroughly modernized and comfortable. We felt away from it all in our private room. The staff even heated up our space ahead of our arrival so that when we came in out of the rain, we felt welcome. And they delivered our chosen breakfast to our door in the morning! "What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. We would absolutely stay here again. "
