"The Ashville Guesthouse is a charming property just on the outskirts of Westport. The room was spacious, clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared with something for every taste. The full Irish breakfast was excellent. Hilary and Oliver are exceptional hosts and make their guests feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B and will book again if my travels take me back to the area."

"This place is a must-stay for pilgrims to Knock. The staff are very gracious, always making you feel welcome and at-home in the hallways. The front desk is exceptionally helpful in responding to questions, looking up information online, and attending to guests' needs. "The temperature of the pool was too cold as was the sauna. There was no body wash in the showers which you would expect in a 4 star hotel. Also the showers were cold in the evening but they were hot in the morning. We didn't have a good breakfast experience either. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table as it was very busy. However all the fruit was gone.and the bread and fruit juice. When our breakfasts eventually arrived some items were missing. Disappoiywith this supposedly 4 star hotel."

"WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. "

"The hotel was amazing, the rooms and bathrooms were huge and everything you could want. The staff at check in were not great though. The tv didn’t work properly either. We were all looking forward to using the spa facilities but didn’t bother as we were unaware of the swimming cap policy. We all had a really great stay and would definitely come back."

"Pretty location but a bit far from town. 10 Euro each way to Uber. Walk to town thru Westport House was nice but wouldn't do it at night. Wish they had a gym and self service laundry. Parking overnight across the street was much easier than behind the hotel. Breakfast room was beautiful and staff attentive. "
