The shutters block out the noise that always happens, everywhere, in Venice during the day. It is only about 100 feet/30 meters from the Hotel Scandinavia. "We loved the design of the place, and the host was very kind in allowing us to store our luggage safely before check-in. There’s a charming little coffee shop just two minutes away—it quickly became my favorite morning spot! One important tip: be sure to keep all windows and doors closed, as there are quite a few mosquitoes in the area. We eventually discovered they were coming in through a window near the office space. Keeping everything shut is key to avoiding a mosquito invasion."
