"The room was spacious and newly renovated, the location was convenient, within walking distance to all the shops and the beach, nice pub downstairs. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Only downside is that it can be noisy till midnight, but that has to be expected from the location, so I'm still giving it 5 stars. "

There are plenty of great dining options nearby on Tedder Avenue, plus the tram is also very close, so we didn't need to hire a car.

"Would reccomend putting dead locks or key locks on balcony doors as for toddlers the locks on their now are super easy to OPEN!! Could do it with windows too for safety.

"Highly recommend. The pool is fantastic for kids with the sand to play in and there are communal sand toys if you forget your own. Pool bar is great for food and drinks. The hotel itself is beautiful and the onsite restaurants are fantastic. Highly recommend you book ahead for the teppanyaki restaurant and also the buffet night at the main restaurant. We will stay here again! The staff are also, all wonderful. "
"Staying at the Dorchester on the Beach was an excellent choice for our three night family getaway. The location was amazing - looking straight out across the ocean we could see and hear the ocean from both balconies. Three roomy bedrooms and three toilets and bathrooms were most appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed and more and the laundry was clean with a new front loading washer and dryer.
