"This was a wonderful place to stay in downtown Iowa City. Easy to find and close to many parking options. Our family room, two queen beds and convertible couch, was the perfect size for our stay. We even had a large bathroom without losing any neutral room space. Very clean and comfortable! "

"Myself and the other parents booked this hotel for our sons baseball tournament. My kids and myself loved our stay here, especially the pool. My only complaint is the TVs are out of date, most hotel tv's are smart TV's and you can log into your netflix account or hulu (you get it) but other than that it was great."

"Great property after a recent renovation. Adjacent to a riverwalk and wetland area and the new Iowa River Landing area. Great food, fun shopping and the convention center is next door. Lovely stay with a great staff. "

"The front desk staff during the day and overnight are extremely friendly and accommodating. Some things seem a bit run down (broken gym equipment, out of order game room, pool/hot tub area) but the rooms, lobby, and breakfast area are very well kept. Only complaint about the room is the shower is strangely narrow, slippery, and a large step when you get out, exercise caution. We had a great breakfast one morning (female staff member) the next day, same breakfast offering, but the male staff member could not keep up with the small crowd and was rude to guests when they asked for items to be replenished. Location was close to lots of fast food and restaurants and right next to walmart when we forgot some items. Check in and out was seamless and the check out time was 12pm which seemed late and was perfect for the late starters. "

"My husband had to have a heart procedure done early in the morning, so we came the night prior. The staff was helpful, location was just a few minutes from hospital, rooms were spacious, we were given a late checkout and parking was right near our room. "
