"The art was whimsical and modern. Nice decor. But really not relaxer kid friendly. The walls are super thin. And after telling us that kids were allowed at the pool part but not recommended, they put us in a room overlooking the pool. The music was still loud that it was really a nuisance."

"The room itself was a tighter fit than I expected but I didn’t mind. The walls however are really thin with lots of noise coming from both sides. There is also no fridge in the room which was a bummer. Everything else was clean and well maintained. The furniture has quite a few love taps and scuffs but nothing that put me out in anyway."

"Some things to be aware of. 1. Parking isn’t onsite. And cost 48 dollars to valet. It takes a goid bit if time to get in and out so factor that in if you have to go in and out. It’s an olde4 hotel and it shows. Proven tile in the bathroom, dated furniture and mid quality appliances. Lastly it’s right next to the ATT Discovery Center. So lots of loud music, sounds and lights. If you are a light sleeper this ain’t for you. Glad we got a special on the stay here. Neat if you stay in the downtown...

"The staff was super helpful and accommodating. Loved the Starbucks in House so I didn’t have to leave to get my coffee. Room rooms and bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed our time here."

"I'm so happy Dallas has a hostel and Bishop Arts is the perfect neighborhood for it. Checking in and out was super easy and straightforward. The entire property is clean and I saw housekeeping doing work every day and at different times to ensure cleanliness for guests. Parking was easy and plentiful. Lots of restaurants and shops to pop into within a mile."

"It was clean, but the room was tiny and certainly over priced. They are going through renovations, but they could at least have a place to purchase water, soda or something."

"I saw a review online somewhere that said the rooms here were cramped. This must have been written by a competitor, because the room we stayed in had enough floor space for a line dance. The beds were comfortable, the temperature was well-regulated, and the room darkening shade kept the room dark. This is the way to do hospitality."

"The room and bedding smell like sweat. The vent were dirty. My husband finger got jammed causing bleeding due to the bathroom rolling door not working properly. Overall, we did not have a pleasant stay for it to be The Western."
